We've missed a few months in our Volunteer Appreciation corner, but we're back with not just one, but an entire group of "volunteers" who have been diligently coming out to our facility for the past 5 weeks. Thank you to a generous grant from Quail Valley, we have been able to offer a summer Equine Science and Barn Management program to a handful of students. This group of hard working individuals have been busy learning about horses and how to take care of them, including feeding, grooming and bathing, mucking stalls, health issues, parts of the horse, and so much more. The work isn't always easy and it definately isn't for those who don't like to get dirty, but our students have been willingly working hard, learning lots, and having fun. We appreciate all the help they give us! Below is just a taste of what our students have been accomplishing. Visit our facebook page for more.
Every few weeks we will be updating this section to spotlight a fundraising opportunity. For a list of all fundraising events and activities, please visit here.
